DirectX 12 error

When starting the game (steam version), the following error pops up:

Could not find compatible Graphics Device that supports DirectX 12.

Please ensure you have a DirectX 12 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer.
I have the latest drivers and the latest version DirectX. What should I do?

Which OS and graphics card?

Having the same problem here cant find how to fix it

I was having this same issue on my GTX 1060, I implemented a fix that was used on the previous flight.
Navigate to the install location of Halo Infinite,
Follow this file path “MGS Test App 6\data\hardware”
Rename the “GPU_Manufacturer” .cfg file that is relevant to your hardware to some other random name, in my case it was “GPU_Nvidia”
Then boot the game.

Thank you! This helped me so much

help please! the game wont work!

I get the same error but if I select continue on the error rather than exit, the game launches and works fine. Hopefully not a bug that will carry over to the actual released game

Cause this just fixed it for me…
I realized all I needed to do was update the driver.
Don’t forget the simple stuff incase the other options didn’t work.

Big ups master chef this worked for me!

Same problem, I have the latest version of directx 12, and updated drivers on a Geforce 860M card. The renamed removed an error message but another one persists " Could not find Device due to the following missing feature: Hardware Tiled Resources Tier 2… Please ensure you have a DirectX 12 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer."
