What is the logical evolution for the Halo Universe? Where does it go from here? This is what I think:
- The Spirit of Fire crash lands on a unknown planet, one that has major forerunner installations. Castor is set to be the main Brute, with him working with Cortana to bring all of the Galaxy under her control. - Red Team some how escapes or is found by Infinity - Sierra 117 and co are working as resistance fighters trying free first sanghelios and then Earth and other worlds. - The Infinity is in hiding, conducting guerrilla warfare against the Created. - The UEG and UNSC is palying along with Cortana’s shceme - This is part of the Reclaimer Saga, so as of Halo 4 and on, all books, comics, and games tie into Humans reclaiming the Mantle and being tested against the biggest enemy of the universe, the Flood. - Chief passes on the main role to Locke or maybe Thorne with Locke staying in second.Let me know what you guys think in the comments, and please post your own.
Those are good ideas, but I dont know if the Spirit of Fire will ever be a large part of the main game series’ storyline. I’d say numbers 2,3,4, and 6 are most likely.
These are good ideas, but what I think will happen after the conflict with Cortana is resolved, is that all forms of centralized government throughout Human Space is dismantled during the rebellion, leaving different factions of Humans(UNSC, ONI, and Insurrectionists) to fight for control of Humanity, Forerunner technology, and the Mantle. I think it’ll end with Chief becoming a leader of the new Human government, because he is Humanity’s champion and the people want a singular, strong leader to protect them from the threats of the Galaxy, and Locke will from then be the new main playable character of the numbered games.
Thus concluding the Reclaimer Saga, and leading to the next series of games, which will feature the Flood as the main enemy.
