Digital games price: never deprecates?

6 years and reach still $19.00 on Microsoft store.
But I can get a physical for $8.99??

Because the digital will (obviously) be in much better condition then a physical, still $19.00 for one of the best halo’s ever is amazing.

The reason why the digital copie’s value will never depreciate is because of the fact that it is digital. You can lose or break your disc, forcing you to get a new copy of Reach. If you have an internet connection and have a digital copy, you can download it indefinately any number of times should the digital copy delete itself, you delete it, or it becomes corrupted.

I also found the digital copy runs smoother too without a game freezing glitch that I have happen with my disc copy (I own both) where if you access the Armory before playing a matchmaking game, Reach locks up. When I play the digital copy, I can access the armory upon hitting the main menu.

So, you’re essentially paying for convience with a digital copy along the lines of consistent smoothness and ability to reclaim if something happens to the digital copy without additional cost. Best to weigh your options based on your needs.
