I tried playing H5 this morning after having the full game, 54.8 gb, installed onto my console a couple of weeks ago. The game would not load the first menu screen and acted like it would not connect to 343 servers. I tried restarting the console as well as unplugging the power brick but neither helped. I decided to uninstall and install the game again. The game finished installing to 100% so I was hopeful that it would work. I launched the game but once the Microsoft and 343 logos flashed it just went to a black screen with a loading circle in the corner. I cut the power to the system once again but to no avail. I have now reset my system to factory default and have started the install again. I am hoping that this will finally fix whatever issue I am having. It is too bad that I was not able to play today along with my brothers, whose games worked perfectly fine, but I am staying as positive as I can. If someone from 343 could acknowledge that they are aware of this issue it would be greatly appreciated. I have seen other people post about similiar issues with the game not working. I hope that there is a fix from 343 soon.
Mine let’s me play about 30 seconds of first mission and crashes. 
this is getting ridiculous I paid $90 for the digital deluxe edition and this is what I get.
Are either of you in the Xbox Preview Program? If yes, are you running the New Xbox Experience? There have been issues with select games, you may be facing a similar issue.
Be sure to report back once you reinstall the game. When this issue happens to me a hard reset usually does the trick (hold the power button on your Xbox One until it completely shuts down).
After resetting back to console factory defaults and reinstalling the game it now works. I am not part of the preview program so I’m not sure what my particular issue was. Working now so I am happy.

I tried this once and it didn’t work, I might try it again because I still haven’t been able to play.
