You’re really going to return it? Its been 2 days it will be fixed. You call up Microsoft if you decide to do that.
I’m on with their chat to do that. If anyone knows a better way please let me know. When they fix it i’ll pick it up on sale. Black friday hopefully will have $30 mc. I know $60 isn’t a lot of money for some people but I expect to get what I paid for when I paid for it.
For those who want a refund who purchased the digital download do this. If they fix it you can always buy it again.

Let them know the game is broken. They will try to troubleshoot but its pointless since you can’t play the game. Be firm with the rep but not rude or mean. If they tell you they are doing a courtesy by refunding it tell them that is rude and condescending. Ask them to please process the refund and that if they fix the issues you will be happy to buy it again.
Provide feedback in this thread on what happens.

it does say no refunds when you buy it but I’ve heard of people getting them, loads got one during the whole BF4 saga
I would definitely like one. Can’t get into any multiplayer games today period. Joined a friends custom game somehow only for it to freeze and exit the MCC collection.
I hear about b4f problems but missed it since I got it on xbox one only.
More than likely i’ll get it again when they fix the problems. Until then gimme my money back. Hopefully Blackfriday sale somewhere for like $30!
They can say no refunds but i’m not sure that meets state laws.

Friends of mine have also gotten their refunds just to update anyone whose having a tough time. Some of them did get a tough time from the rep quoting the terms of service. Again I dont know if their terms meet your state and local laws. It certainly doesn’t meet credit card company agreements for them to sell you a product and not deliver. Before going that route ask them when the service is going to be up. We haven’t gotten an answer to that question from them.
Just got off the line with xbox live support. They’re internal systems are down so they can’t process any refunds at the moment. Advised me to call back in 30 minutes and if they could access my account they would refund the digital purchase and I could simply purchase the hard copy at a later date.

LOL by the time you get your refund it will be fixed seriously some people need there heads checked.

Considering Black Friday is roughly 2 weeks after launch you won’t be picking this game up for $30. Sadly that’s not even the dumbest thing you’ve posted in this thread.

I guess many of you are like me with a lot of time that has now freed up since you planned to play MC. If you’re in the US you can call your credit card company and request a charge back. Just say you’re not satisfied with the purchase and you want a refund. Terms of conditions don’t matter - they won’t let sleezey merchants sell people broken things. You’ll get your money back instantly and they will go after Microsoft to collect.

One of my friends was able to get their money back. So if you were told they can’t do it because their systems are offline… ITS BACK ONLINE! get your money back.

Just putting some BS “No refunds” line in there when people buy a game does not actually mean much in a lot of cases. In some countries, Australia and most of Europe at least, it is against the law to refuse refunds for faulty products regardless of any “No Refunds” policy they think they might have in place or whether it is a physical product or a digital product. The Australian government recently took Valve to court over their illegal policy of not giving refunds for faulty products on Steam, despite what it may say on screen when you bought the game. I would imagine Microsoft would be in the same boat in these countries and, while whoever you talk to will try to tell you that their policy is to not give refunds, they know that in the end they are legally obliged to give you one.
