im not new to the halo franchise, but i do have a little brother who is interested in MCC, and i thought that maybe you could give me some recommendations?
Easy or legendary I would say. Either let him build his confidence up by starting on the easiest difficulty and work his way up or challenge him to get good from the get go on legendary.

I’ll try that out and see the outcome, thanks for the advice.
If he’s completely new to the fps genre, easy, if not, normal for best experience in my opinion.
Normal and then when he beats the campaign he can try Heroic and Legendary
just go for slow progression,let him learn at his own pace
My first playthrough of all the campaigns was on Normal, I find its a nice, cruising difficulty with its fair dose of challenges.
Depending on his familiarity with FPS controls I’d go Normal or Heroic. Easy is too easy - won’t test you after the first 5 minutes. Heroic may be too difficult if not used to FPS.
