Difficulty Rewards?

I’m not sure where I can vote up a question for 343 to answer, but I’m just going to put it out there. Will there be more rewards from choosing a harder difficulty on the campaign? (ex. more customization for multiplayer, titles for you character, etc.) Because they are going for that progressive open world feel, I was wondering if this might or might not be a feature. What do you think about it? Would you want that in the game?

343 rarely answer a post but i am just going to guess that probably is going to be somethhing similar to that but different maybe they will be Challenges that you have to do in that Certain difficulty to earn rewards, they’re maybe seeing how on MCC works to put it on Infinite and if the people like it.

If MCC is anything to go by it should do.

Would be a good way to add additional “achievements” by having say a beat campaign in under 3 hours on legendary nameplate or beat LASO without putting them in the achievements as that puts some buyers off weirdly enough.

It would be nice to have something similar like they did in 4 which you could unlock a certain armor by getting a certain challenge completed.

It would be nice. But seeing as mm is a seperate thing as itbis f2p, I think it should work in a similar manner tobhow Mass effect 3 handled certain achievements.

Have some reward armor for doing things, obviously. But itfit is supposed to be very hard to unlock, make it have both a hard requirement and a hard requirement from campaign. But when either is completed you unlock it. That way everyone stillbhas the chance to unlock it

I know, I’ve been debating whether my first play through should be Heroic or Legendary mainly because I want to feel rewarded

Probably just for achievements and maybe an exclusive piece of armor for multiplayer. That’s usually all they give. Anything more than that feels like too much to me, personally. I’m sure we will know more closer to launch.

In halo 5 you could get the helioskrill armor for completing all campaigns on legendary. So maybe in infinite you can complete the campaign in legendary and get rewarded.

Hopefully exclusive armour unlocks for finishing the game on higher difficulties. Just like the system Halo 3 had for armour unlocks. No crazy laso stuff though.

Once upon a time the reward was simply completing the task itself…

But what the Hell… I’ll have the pestilence armour please…

I would love some unique armor for LASO. Like have every level give a piece of it and then once every mission is complete then give the helmet. Maybe make the armor look like the Banished brute armor, similar to helioskrill for h5.

I imagine some kind of cosmetic items would be locked behind specific Challenges like MCC, and an Achievement would simply be tied to it when you complete the Challenge.
