I’ve suggested this idea on a few different forums, but I figure it could be beneficial to create its own. I’ve been able to play 9 WZ:FF games, winning 4 of them. Personally, I’m not very cheap with my reqs. I always use Scorpions, Wraiths, Ghosts, etc. when it’s necessary. I always try to communicate, even though my efforts are often unsuccessful. When I’m placed with higher level guys that carry their own weight, I win. When I’m placed with lower level players that don’t have good reqs or higher level players that are too cheap to use their own reqs, I lose. This ultimately makes a lot of sense, as no matter how good one player is, firefight should not be an individual effort. But the community win/loss ratio is evidence that something needs to change.
Though there are obvious things that do need tweaking (like spawns for promethean enemies on defense rounds, 15 knights surrounding mythic bosses, etc.), I feel as though this would be the best method of keeping both competitive and casual players happy. There could be an easy version that is less rewarding on the xp and req points for lower level guys, and a version for guys like me that enjoy a bit of a challenge. What do you guys think?
