I’ve already had an extremely long argument with someone about this, I came to the conclusion that a mixture between reach’s legendary difficulty and halo 1’s legendary difficulty would be the best.

I just want a canon difficulty. You know, one that replicates the books as much as possible.

If you tried to make a difficulty close to that, you would be doing the Campaign for days.

Using skulls can already mix up and get you as close as possible.

Wouldn’t that be a good thing? All previous Halo game’s difficulties have been way too easy, and completely them on Legendary solo takes no time at all, <10 hours for each game.

In a way, yes, but to a lot no, especially if there was something to get out of it like Armour or an achievement.

This is what annoys me most about gamers today, they get everything given to them on a silver platter and all games are way too easy. If it’s called “Legendary” then it’s meant to be hard - not something that your average Joe can complete swimmingly.

Inferno on Diablo 3, Master on Skyrim to name a couple of games that should have been a lot harder.

Well I think it should be harder than Reach’s campaign. I completed that solo legendary in two days without a problem. Halo 2, if I remember correctly, was considerably harder than the other Halo campaigns. Maybe they should have something similar to Halo 2’s difficulty.

there’s a big difference between annoying and challenging, though I want games that are challenging I don’t want games however that are annoying.

This if you can’t handle legdenary… don’t play it.
