I’ve seen a multitude of clips of Halo 5 Warzone and Warzone Firefight gameplay with different HUD overlays. I’m curious, how exactly is this done. Myself and several of my friends have been trying to find out why by looking through options bu haven’t found anything. If someone could please explain how changing the HUD overlay is done, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Do you mean how like the infecteds hud is green when the player is infected?
Are you sure that isn’t campaign? Or are you talking about the red/blue speed buffs?
Playing different characters warrants different overlays and visuals.
I am very very very sure that you can not change the HUD overlays. And the only the HUD is different that i know of is when a player is infected. Actually I do know a way you can change the HUD. Hacks.

It wasn’t in campaign because the first clip I saw was on Escape from A.R.C. and it wasn’t a boost or camo of any kind. Instead of the standard blue outline, it was more contoured and orange. Resembling something of what I’d imagine the Helioskrill HUD would look like.

Yeah sure, if I can find it. I saw it a while ago, but if I can find it, I’ll post it here. And in the case it is footage of campaign, I’ll say so.

You can’t link til your a marine, till then other people have to do it for you.

Yeah no that’s definitely not the default hud… but this is an infection game.

I’m 99% sure that’s a custom overlay that was put over the video using Sony Vegas or something of the like. You can’t change your HUD in Halo 5, that’s a fact.
Maybe it’s just how their settings are, I’m sure you can change colors in TV settings, but Wether that transfers into DVD clips or theater clips uploaded, I don’t know

Ya thats fake its most likely a custom overlay you cant change the hud at all in h5.
