Different Controller Aim Assist?

Hello, I have been playing Halo Infinite on my PC with a regular original xbox one controller until my new Xbox X version of the controller came in the mail. The new controller is a Scuf, but I don’t think that would matter with the problem I am having.

So when I use this new Xbox controller on PC, I do not get ANY aim assist at all. However, when I use the original Xbox one controller, the aim assist is there and everything is fine. I have obviously reset my game, restarted my computer and all of the obvious answers many times. I can actually change from my Scuf to my og controller mid game and get aim assist, so it is not the common bug that PC is running into.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? This is the most confusing thing I have ran into in a long time.

Thanks for any help.

The entire aim assist mechanic is broke. I use a scuf and get aim assist about 20% of the time. The rest I don’t at all.

Sounds like I will be using my original controller then. Had no idea this was a problem until I was shooting circles in Onyx getting embarrassed

Oh, I assume you’re great with a controller and no aim assist? Bravo!

I use an elite v2 and it does seem that some matches i don’t get any aim assist where in others it is somewhat noticeable but still very very low
