Different ammo types

I hope the UNSC weapons get different types of ammo types for the weapons. Like high explosive incindary and armour piercing and all hybrid versions of it. I really hope we get different varieties. Would be awesome to have assualt rifle that shoots incindary rounds. Or maybe even emp rounds for something different.

I think the weapon variant system shown in H5 WZ could be both expanded and refined. I don’t see a need for individual ammo variants but I think in a limited capacity it could be executed well perhaps. Not big on my list if I am being honest but I would offer a soft support of the idea if it was really popular enough.

I don’t want them to overcomplicate the system just to add something different. I think the system is fine how it is at least in multiplayer.

For me, I hope Halo Infinite has a more arena type playstyle. Equal starts, no loadouts, and a game mode focused around map control and weapon pickups. Adding new ammo types, does seem to make things more complicated than is needed. But I’m curious at what 343 has in mind. Hopefully, there will be a beta test soon, so everyone can give some feedback.

I think everything you mentioned will be included however there is a conversation that hopefully happened in 343i. Why, dear god why, did almost every map look like a warehouse. They seem to make the maps and add the exterior later to add the “theme”. The maps felt far from organic visually outside of a few maps.

Are you referring to Halo 5? Then I agree. Really no innovation, the best maps were remakes, or forged ones.

Yes, Halo 5. I feel like the quality of maps usually gets overlooked yet are the foundation of the multiplayer.

They already talked about how ammo types will differ between different weapons like projectile based or plasma based, but I’m not sure if those categories will themselves be split up into more. I would hope weapon variants make a cool return but as for their ammo would work, I guess we’ll see soon!
