There are way too many to fit the 7500 characters they give us. But for one, Halo 4 is an Xbox exclusive and we made 300,000,000$ on the launch day. BO II beat us by 200 million, but guess what? BO II released on Wii, PS3, and Xbox. Seeing as to how COD has 2 more systems than us, they made squat compared to Halo only selling on one console. If Halo sold on every console, we would have beat COD.
Now there is the matter of gameplay. COD is way too repetetive. Every single game they unleash is the same, only with a different menu, different maps, and different looking guns that pretty much all do the same thing. Halo has very brilliantly taken to making only 1 gun instead of 10 that all do the same thing. They have different species weapons that all to other things as well. The MA5B is a human automatic rifle. The suppressor is the Promethean automatic rifle, and so on with the covenant. The only make one of every variant for each species and manage to add their own special artillery as well. COD just makes 10 different automatic’s, 5 semi’s, and a few burst shots. All with damages ranging between the %.
Not to mention, there is one thing that makes COD more successful than most games; and that is “Call of Duty”. It’s simply the title that makes those 40 year old’s in the basement have orgasms. Yet, every COD is the same as the last. Halo has always managed to bring something new. Halo 2 evolved Halo: CE. Halo 3 completely changed Halo’s future. Halo Reach invited the credit system and a newer and better Forge, can’t forget armor abilities. Halo 4 brought us new enemies, maps, story, armor, and multiplayer gameplay.
This is how COD and Halo are different, this also proves how Halo is way better. Don’t forget that Halo is usually made by about 200-500 people. COD is usually made by 2,000-5,000 people. If you’d like to object to any of my nerd-gasmic logic, please do so.
