I still don’t understand what is the difference between the scattershot and shotgun besides the fact that they look different, disintegration effect and bouncing bullets.
Scattershot has a longer range, allowing it to hit the Shotgun at a farther range. I’m not sure if the Scattershot’s rate of fire is faster or not though.

Scottershot has 5 shells as opposed to the shotty with 6. But, I don’t think any technical differences will be noticeable.
The differences between Scattershot and Shotty is somewhat big.
The range on the Shotty is more than the Scattershot but the ScatterShot can bounce shots off walls. You can get kills with it IF you can get the right angle and distance. The damage off the walls is the same as if you were shooting the person regularly. There is some serious potential for some trick kills with the Scattershot.
Of course both these guns will need to be used at close range for maximum effectiveness (obviously).
I will say this though; Killing you’re self with the Scattershot is hilarious.
I like the appearance of it, reminds me of a transformer.
