I just bought the ultimate edition on Friday, and tried playing definitive edition yesterday and it didn’t work. Every time I tried loading it up I was just put back into halo wars 2. I tried looking into the store and it seems the download I got with the ultimate edition was some 10 mb download labeled as an add on. Anyone else have the issue/know how to resolve it? Thanks.
Yes, im going thru the same problem…apparently u need a seperate code for it. Although mine says it’s downloaded, i cant play it. Xbox support is no help, maybe the game developers
Got the same issue. Trying to work out what’s going on. Some people said the code came with their game, some people say it gets emailed to you. Problem I have is lack of information on this. Nowhere on the store page does it say anything on how you’re meant to get access to it. Just says you own this. That’s great, how do I play it?
It turns out you need to wait for a code to be sent to you from Xbox live, It took about 6 days for me to receive mine. It will come in the form of a Xbox Live message
