For those who have watched Prometheus,do you remember the scene when the last alien came out of Cryo they asked him a whole bunch of questions and all he did was smile and pretty much beat the -Yoink- out of them. What if Halo 4 had something similar but just master cheif and cortana VS the didact.We have seen the concept art of master cheif standing outside the Didacts cryptum so what if it went like this.
Cortana:I can’t belive it…its…a Cryptum,where the Forerunners kept there prometheans,could there possibly still be one living inside?.
The cryptum starts to open
John:Well,i guess were going to find out.
The didact steps out the cryptum clearly at the point of going rampant and the lights on his armor glowing hard orange he takes one step out and looks down on the cheif with his massive size
Didact: Hah,pathetic creature
*The didact then knocks the John back and teleports zig-zag like the promethean AIs he trys to slam his arm down with enough force to destroy the john but he stops it.
Didact:Hmm,a human promethean…your strong human, but not strong enough.
He then picks up John about to finish him off but something stops him
Didact:No…you are not a normal human…You are…Forerunner.
His Hardlight flickers blue again but then back to orange
I don’t know,i think it would be a cool scene even if it is Cheesy.

It’s an odd analogy but he is right.
And the Didact WOULD toss Chief like a ragdoll. Promethean warriors are noted to have arms the size of tree trunks.
as much as I agree with you there is one unfortunate fact. even though most of us know the didact is the enemy it has not yet been confirmed.

Just like the Hunters who have inpenetrable armor and are 4 meters tall and 10500 pounds and has freaking hand cannons. And Brutes who are 3 m tall and 1000 pounds or elites who are 2.6 meter tall and very skilled. Yet chief killed a whole bunch of them. Also the Didact isnt the most powerful combat forerunner, hes the greatest military leader and the leader of the prometheans, and even if he was indeed the most powerful, i doubt hed be able to do any harm to chief after 100.000 years of sleep in a cryptum.

Ok first of all,the prometheans were absolutly amazing at combat and im sure a high leveled promethean could easily take on John and win.As said above they do have the arm size of like 3 tree trunks.Now that you know how powerful the prometheans are,the Didact is the most elite out of all of them.He’s smarter then the chief he has the technology and brute strength to easily take out the chief.And its clear that he’s alive and active,he scanned the infinity and brought it inside the cryptum got up and went to the infinity.

Just as all the aformentioned covenant races are amazig at combat. Also they dont have the arm size of 3 tree trunks lol imagine them as a hunter but thinner. Also the Forerunners war tech wasnt the greatest because they decommisioned their weaponry after the human- forerunner war and had hard time adatping to fight the flood. Heck they didnt even use energy shields for a long time.

Well the books describe the prometheans as very intelligent, hunter sized warriors. Nevertheless they were still defeated by the flood.

At this point that just sounds like fanboyism.The didact is much more powerful then John,don’t belive me?,look at the E3 demo,the promethean AIs sent john flying and knocked him out,now remember that was just a weak AI,they are no where near the strength of a normal promethean,and normal prometheans are no where near the strength of the didact.a normal promethean could throw the chief around and destroy his armor easily,the didact is much worse,In the scene he’s holding back by a lot because he doesn’t have all his strength back,i know sleeping for 100,000 years makes anyone a bit rusty,but he’s already been up and active so he’s not totoally weak.

Actually you sound like a fanboy. The Didact isnt stronger or more powerul than the other prometheans. Hes the greatest military leader thats what makes him special. Also where the hell did you get that the promethean knights are weak or nowhere as strong as prometheans? I mean why would the Forerunners create AIs weaker than themselves? That makes 0 sense. The Knight is described to be as strong as a hunter by those who played spartan ops. Also it weighs as much as promethean and is almost as tall.

Sorry buddy but some of the information you have there is wrong.He IS stronger then the other prometheans.That is what makes him special but that doesn’t mean he isn’t stronger then the others. and i never said it was weak i said it was weaker then the real prometheans,im going to assume there not capable of comunicating like prometheans or have all access to the things prometheans have due to them being defense AIs,clearly not AIs like MB or GS,they werent trying to re create prometheans just keep flood out.and ill check about its weight but it is NOT as tall as prometheans,prometheans at full mutation are about 24 feet tall these are only 10 feet tall.Yup,no information on there weight so your just making things up at this point.
