Didact VS...

…Chief, Noble 6 (if 343i decided to bring him back somehow) Palmer and Thorne. No weapons, no cheap Forerunner force choke crap, but also no Cortana.

Discuss.

Noble six because hes just cooler to me than chief

Didact, he’s pretty much physically superior to all of them, double the size of all of them and it’s been mentioned a full fledged warrior servant like the Didact is capable of crushing a SPARTAN-IIs skull

The Didact would crush all four of them. He has the advantage in strength easily, far superior armor with likewise superior defenses against primitive bullets. He almost certainly is faster than the Spartans by virtue of his superior physique, and if not he can still fly to a degree even without his pad so they wouldn’t be able to force melee on him. He has laser weapons in his hands as well, demonstrated in Cryptum so he can maintain distance, and he is beyond a doubt smarter than all of them, maybe combined. The Spartans have no advantages.

I tought the Master Chief holding Cortana’s data chip in the trailer means that he will take her back with Forerunner tech…TBH thats my only reason to still crawl around this forums…

The Didact would lose, like most OP super villans that fail, his fatal flaw is his uncontainable need to give intellectual, discriminative speeches rather than finishing the job. The four would probably have a pulse grenade in his chest by the end of his first sentence.

Honestly I feel the only reason the Didact gloated was because of storytelling, but he’s not really a villain per say, if he didn’t gloat he’d whoop everyone’s butt

Normally I’d say Didact, but I’d go with Noble 6 over both of them. Why?

I haven’t seen Chief or the Didact survive getting shot repeatedly, stabbed in the face and then burned with an entire planet yet.

Well the Didact survived getting shot by a binary rifle twice and has survived many more encounters with a more evolved Flood than Chief has ever faced, and he has most likely survived a nuke and falling into a slipspace portal

My post was a joke…but whatever.

Correction: It’s not “cheap Forerunner force choke crap”, it’s an armor ability.

Problem?

> Noble sixers because hes just cooler to me than chief

I concur.

In face to face, Didact would crush them all.
In the other hand Spartans have the edge if they working as a team and don’t do anything stupid.

Y’all forget the fact that the Didacts mental capacity is just as superior as an AI’s mind, meaning he could calculate and act accordingly faster than a spartan ever could.

Where in the world are you pulling that from? I’m up-to-date on my Halo fiction and I’ve never heard mention of his mental capacity matching that of an ancilla.

Nobody has superior thoughts over an AI, it’s impossible, because they are hindered by their flesh and blood and feelings and what not, they aren’t pure thought. But the Forerunners are superior to humans thanks to de evolution, which since we have a fair amount of data supporting ancient humans were as smart (or smarter due to figuring out what the flood was and attempting to fix it, while Forerunners bumbled about due to politics) puts the spartans at a disadvantage right off the back, but considering the Ur Didact doesn’t have his armor ability, the spartans can take him one using run and gun maneuvers and sending him into an environmental trap, rather than righting him head to head.

But considering that his name IS Didact, it’s nearly impossible to use something he doesn’t know inside and out, he taught EVERYONE ELSE how to fight lol

Graveminds can they corrupted the forerunner AI Mendicant Bias and the key minds that were stronger then any forerunner AI at the time.

All of them armored? Hm, I’d say Didact, but Chief AND Noble 6, plus two other less-so-but-still-incredibly-lethal Spartans? It’d be a hard fight for him in any case.

I’d like to see it without armor though. Who knows what sort of crazy, insane martial arts the Forerunners developed, and how competent a Forerunner who has not only been mutated specifically to be the physical and mental pinnacle of a warrior, but also had near 11,000 years to perfect his art, is.

God, now I want 343 to work that into Halo 5/6 somehow… Forerunner martial arts.

You know what else I’d like to see? Chief + Arbiter Vs. Didact.

And think about it: “Didact” basically means a type of teacher, and he taught in a college once.

It’s probably in his nature to educate others why they’re wrong, why he’ll win, etc.

Actually the quote said a Promethean warrior-servant could crush a human skull, didn’t say anything about Spartan IIs, their bones were made pretty much indestructible.

[-_-] Are you really saying spartan bones are indestructible? They can be destroyed. Period.

The Didact’s enormous strength should be enough to beat all of them.
