No we need those challenge swaps so hopefully we get more of them in the pass or more just in general. Especially when a playlist breaks and you still get challenges for that playlist and are stuck so to speak.
This is absolutely backwards. You shouldnāt be basing your gaming experience off the presumption that the game is going to break at any time. You shouldnāt be hoarding your challenge swaps on the off chance that another BTB situation is going to happen.
Challenge swaps and XP boosts are perhaps the worst reward you can get for leveling. Iād rather them take a better look at the challenge system, alleviate the pain points that players are experiencing, and do more tweaking than to ever get more awful challenge swap filler.
Well if 343 would turn out a better product I wouldnāt play with the expectation the game is going to break and/or have bugs. It happens more often than not with 343 especially when they update and/or add stuff. So swaps are very valuable as lame as it is.
Battle pass yes the premium no, Iāll buy season 2 but no way Iām jumping to level 25, even if i didnāt do the premium i would still be 100 right now
I wanted the Battle Tested achievement and since I find Infinite MP more tedious than fun, the XP boosts made it totally worth it. I used MS Rewards points to pay for it anyway. Unless it facilitates other achievements in Season 2, I wonāt bother.
Iāll say it once, and Iāll say it many times: In Halo Infiniteās multiplayer, with all of the lacking in its in-store purchases, the BP is the only sound investment.
Eh⦠Itās alrightā¦
There are some nice pieces in itā¦
Since 2042 didnāt work out, I used the money I already planned for that and invested in Halo.
I am happy with the build I made, but I am not sure āworth itā is the phrase I would use. Having bought the single player the BP and store items are just 2022ās version of horse armor.
Season 2 will need to be really special and be a functioning game before I am willing to spend any more.
call of duty has more worthwhile bpsā¦
i cannot excuse a bp where almost half of it (40/100) is bloated with a useless challenge swap. thatās just lazy
itās especially insulting to those who wanted reachās armor when you consider S1 of MCC. remove the elites, a few armor effects, and FF voices. and it shows that all the armor wouldāve fit in the HEROES OF REACH BP
I donāt see any reason buying them at all. They are just added padded playtime because 343 doesnāt have deadly squat in terms of content to offer the game. Itās like they said āthis is a 10 year planā so they can create contentš¤¦āāļø
I can play any other Halo and not have to deal with the headache most have had to deal with because of 343 ignorance.
Bought it and deeply regret it for 2 main reasons:
-
It contains barely anything compared to what was available in Reach and especially compared to paid passes in other games Iāve played.
-
I have now contributed money to this horrible system that is a huge middle finger to players.
I will be looking VERY CAREFULLY at the s2 BP before considering a purchase.
Not worth it. Not enough content usable content. But thatās the running theme with this game.
Considering theyāre re-using freaking watchdog weapon coatings for HCS drops, the people doing the content mustāve left ages ago.
I have 250 worth in Microsoft money set asideā¦
I techniqually wonāt have to pay for a single one for itās 10 yr life scycle
There really isnāt much difference between the battle pass and the store because all they do is offer cosmetics. Ones a little cheaper and it takes longer to get, the other is expensive as hell and you get what you want instantly. Battle pass should give you access to exclusive game modes for a gives season. This whole idea of prioritizing cosmetics so players can āexpress themselves ā has ruined games. Who cares about actual content when you can slap a goofy looking doodad on your helmet to let everyone know how big of a sucker you are!
Itās worth it if they add cross core.
But this doesnāt mean it isnāt worth, it just means 343 need to stop being idiots and add cross core.
Most of the Mk.VII Core stuff is free and the only Mk.VII coating you get for premium battlepass is blue rampage. So if that Reach style stuff matters to you then go for it. I knew I wanted the Mk.VI helmet at some point so i got it early on from launch.
After the way they adjusted accumulation of XP and such since launch id say you can at least feel out how much youāll focus on it before spending any dough. Plus the accumulation of swaps is nice if you are already far into it as a free player or have the xp grants from the events/fractures.
For me it was worth it. Mark 6 helmet, superintendent, bunch of green coatings(although the green coating i recieved is better)
It was good for $10. It was easy enough to max out that you wonāt miss out on any of the stuff by not playing constantly like some battle passes do. I personally really like the Reach ODST armor so I use that a lot.
-Yoink!- son⦠wish I had that much xD
I have yet to putchase it, lvl 70ish at the moment.
Iāve made no decision not to buy it, but Iām not purchasing untill itās completed IF Iām going to buy it.
Because, Iām not missing anything, and in the eventuality that I quit the game early, I havenāt spent money in things Iāve not unlocked
