no it had its fun moments but a whole hell lot of bad moments for me ifnitne aside from the obvious issues I have more fun on ifnitne then 5
The only other Halo game that is worse than Halo 5, is Halo 4. Total, utter trash.
I didnāt play Halo 5 until 3 years after it came out because of Halo 4.
Halo 5 is a masterpiece. If you donāt appreciate the ranked competitive game as it stands now then you literally have no idea what youāre talking about.
The movements are fluid, the choices and ability for out plays are immense.
Call Halo 5 core movement mechanics gimmicks would be like calling crouching a gimmick.
Like Iām sorry you canāt keep more than 2 possibilities in your head at the same time. Haters can go back to MCC where you can walk, jump, but not walk and crouch (unless you stop moving). Thatās a game where maybe you need to hit the pause button, well just use the bubble shield and give your thumbs a break while you decide if you want to walk left or right next. All Halo 3 fights look the same, itās washed.
Halo Infinite is in a great spot gameplay wise. Iād just ask that they allow us to pick starting equipment in custom games. I want to try Thurster starts for competitive play.

Damn people really hated halo 5. I liked the multiplayer a lot. They really pinpointed the balancing besides I guess the pistol, but not everyone was a God with the pistol, for normal players I would say everything played well. There wasnāt a weapon you could pick up and be disappointed.
I enjoyed the movement as well, except spartan charge, I think everyone agrees that was bull everytime.
Infinites movement feels like it wanted to be something like halo 5, but they stopped on that idea half way through development, then left sprint in
depends. If you play with a controller. But if you play with a mouse then aside from ce you will pick that game cuz how fluid and smooth its aiming is.

I was on my way to the gym yesterday and had been thinking about my experience trying halo 5 for the very first time. I was remembering the beta, and decided to look up a gameplay video of it. It may sound weird but I was instantly flooded with a sensation of nostalgia. I was so hyped when I tried the beta and really hyped to get my hands on the game and play all the new stuff in it. When it came to competitive, you could really see how far they stretched the concept that you were in a simulated experience facing the other Spartans. (Or whatever the actual thing is, they did a great job imo) Hearing the spartan chatter call outsā¦then the break out modeā¦warzoneā¦spartan companiesā¦
Then this gameā¦manā¦its just sad in comparison. The free to play thingā¦man thatās its own can of worms discussionā¦and all i can say is that I donāt recall anyone ever in the forums saying halo should try f2p outā¦
I think a lot of us that play halo pretty much play it because the fundamental gameplay is just its own thing. Nothing else like it on the market. I find myself wishing there was right now though. I feel like Iāve just done all I can with the game. I want to play something else thatās similar, but better. Canāt find anything unless itās a past halo game though. Which I donāt want to play an older game. I want something new and fresh.
I can either move on orā¦continue to do the same thingā¦andā¦get nothing out of it besides asking myself why I just spent so much time on the thing when half the time I find myself frustrated with the stuff Iām dealing with anyways.

Hands down I miss H5. We had WZ, WZFF. Now itās mainly competitive only. I really miss the mission selection so you could go back and get things you missed playing campaign. Having to start a new game to get things you missed just doesnāt cut it. I know 343 is working on it, I hope it doesnāt take forever to get it done.

I miss warzone very much. The req system in warzone, where you could equip higher tier weapon when you got enough points to the next level.
I miss the halo 5 vehicles like oni warthog, oni and hanibal tank.
The special weapons like nornfang, the DMR, the variation of the pulse carbine.
The gameplay of warzone, capturing and defend bases, but still the possibility to win a match even when you had only 1 base.
