If you did welcome aboard. This game is very fun.

Just a tip though, don’t judge the multiplayer until well after you’ve completed your ranking matches. There’s going to be some blowouts, you will very likely be destroyed in some games. You may even tear the opposition apart in some games. All part of finding where you belong. Once you’re ranked where you belong this game is a blast.

Also you really should spend some time and join a spartan company. Weather you’re a long time vet,a casual gamer, or a newly retired just starting to game with the extra time you now have. There’s a company out there with like minded people.

Get a headset, get in a company and you will have a much better experience. Halo has always been better played with others. Very few new players do this and I think it’s a major detriment to their enjoyment. Have fun, merry Christmas!

I don’t think many got H5 for Christmas because H5 is now #11 on most played list.

Will buy the H5G console with the discount from the Gamerscore Super Deal after New Year’s because I think it actually looks pretty cool and I find the design of the regular XBone just plain boring.

Will then sell the H5G code and probably all the additional content like the Metal Earth Guardian on Ebay, since I have no interest in that game whatsoever.

Will finally use said money to get the Halo Master Chief collection which will keep me busy until Halo Wars 2 and probably even much longer.

I hope a lot of gamers still play MCC. I tried going and playing a couple matches on anniversary but it took me forever to get a game. After what seemed like 10 mins( probably more like 5 including patience rage multiplier) I got on a game.

Mcc should be treated like a halo hub after they fixed matchmaking. Get to play the classics on a modern console at any time! Sadly I don’t think too many do this. They just whine about what they don’t like about 5 and go play a crappy game like cod or battlefront.

As I said, I don’t like the design of the standard XBone. Abd since that thing is gonna sit in my living room right in front of me for the next ten-ish years, I’d rather have a console that I don’t mind looking at.

EDIT: Also goes really well with my silver Halo Reach edition Xbox 360.

I’ve had Halo 5 since a few days after it’s release. It’s still fun to play, though it has a limited map selection.

maps and playlists. Every update should bring a whole lot of each hopefully.

I like the design but hate the execution. Who thought it would be a good idea to use extremely glossy acrylic as the material? My Xbox now looks like brushed aluminum.

FFS a microfiber cloth left scratches on it. To make things worse, acrylic likes to accumulate static electricity and doing so becomes a dust magnet.
