One of my favorite maps. I’d love to see it back soon!
I want it back too. When I played it, I didn’t see what was so terrible or broken about it.
If anything, Orion should replace Pegasus. Pegasus is my least favorite map of Halo 5 without a doubt.

I wish I could like this 1000 times lol. Pegasus makes me want to rage quit.
No reason we shouldn’t have this in rotation. It’s an original and plays like no other map and was pure fun.
Please 343 put it in rotation!
I miss it too made it see like more variety was available at the time…They also have a good selection of competitive forge maps for 4 v 4 in the community.
I have a feeling it’s not coming back. We haven’t heard anything about it since it was taken out of the rotation. Honestly, I would much rather prefer they add community arena maps to the rotation, similar to breakout and BtB.

You could ground pound out of the map and folks where grabbing the sniper getting out of the map and getting way back and picking people off. I’m not sure if 343 ever released an official reason why it’s out or why it hasn’t/isn’t coming back, someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Your also a prime reason it should be brought back. All of the Christmas people never got to play this map and many more. It’s basically a finished polished map that 343 could introduce as new to the majority.

…I could go into Forge and fix that right now, lol. It’s just a matter of kill boundaries.
And the reason I heard it was removed was because people were committing suicide too much from trying to parkour up to the Damage Boost. Which honestly doesn’t seem like that big of a problem when there are other maps (The Rig, Pegasus) that feature parkour sections over a death drop.

If that’s the case, that’s a lame excuse. Either way, people are missing out on a fully developed arena map that could very easily be added in.

There was an exploit where if you jumped (sprinting) off the ledge and then used ground-pound, you could land outside on Alpine past the kill boundaries. Couple that with the Battle Rifle or Sniper Rifle and you can safely snipe people from the safety of outside.

Did you read what you quoted? Your response seems very similar to a post in it. None the less like the kerminator said this was a simple fix. Why isn’t the map back in rotation?
I loved that map I think it was very original.
Orion is a really unique map that I had a lot of fun playing. For some reason 343i removed it and kept pegasus, which is odd. I think they should try hard to fix whatever was wrong with it and re-introduce it to the rotation because it is a well disigned map imo and should be enjoyed by players. If there is poll anywhere it might grab their attention.
Orion wasn’t great but more maps in the rotation is always good for variety.
