Forerunners had crazy technology. It was only assumed an enemy could do this. Although I still pooped a little when I saw it.

I agree it was amazing to see and so was the dizzolving into squares of light
It was definitely unexpected.
It seems to me that these new enemies will be a lot tougher to fight than the covenant. I’ve been fighting covenant for so long, i think a change of tactics is in order.
