I dont know about you but it weems like there is going to be a lot more then 10 new weapons, Now this is just an idea but what if they meant that there would be 10 new weapons for each species?

Definitely not going to be 30 new weapons. Are there even 30 weapons in the sandbox? It’s going to be 10 new ones total.
Getting thirty new weapons would be absolutely silly. We already have plenty of weapons with overlapping functions, so how in the hell would 343 create 30 unique weapons? For Halo 4, we’re getting the Rail Gun, the Light Rifle, the Scatter Shot, the Promethean Pistol, the Sticky Detonator, the Storm Rifle, and the SAW. If we were promised ten brand new weapons, that means there’s two that we haven’t seen yet. If the rumours of the Promethean Repeater turn out to be that it’s the Promethean Pistol we saw in the weapon sounds trailer, then chances are that the last two new weapons will be Covenant or Promethean in origin.
I was thinking we had been told there would be a Promethean Sniper rifle, and there are pictures of what appears to be one, and of what appears to be a Crossbow styled weapon, and the supposed Promethean Repeater weapon. I’m starting to consider the pistol could be the crossbow appearing weapon but eh, the look appears wrong for it to be honestly. Its possible the new weapon count could extend by a couple, perhaps to 12 or 13 but I do not believe we will get 15-20 new weapons, and 30 is just stretching it and possibly to much.
Ok so 30 is to much, what if it was ten promethean weapons, because just haveing 6(i think that how many there is as of now)is not enough for a completely new enemy.
I doubt it, but they did say they would release weapon vids for the Pros and Covies. So you just have to wait and see.
Where did you hear only 10 from?
If you really think about it, he bulk of new weapons are most likely Promethean.
And I don’t think Sticky detonator, SAW and Rail gun makes 10 new UNSC weapons.
I doubt it honestly. Even with the vid, we only saw about 4 brand new weapons… I doubt the BR counts as a “new” gun.
