I read KC Killa’s post about halo 4. Some of the main points people are bringing up from his post are the fact that bloom, recoil, broken armour abilities, the reach meele system and the COD esque controller layout.
After people point these out as red flags it’s shot back with “ADAPT NOOBZ”!
Really guys, really? Didn’t we do this two years ago? Didn’t we figure out that these features cause mass arugments among the community? Not only that but we figured out bloom, the reach meele system and anything COD related is not welcome in Halo?
Even the causal campaign players are pissed off! about the science fiction grunt exo(not sure what it was again) i’ve never seen them this pissed before, this is bad news.
Why, 343? I trusted you during the takeover, but as more and more news comes out i really don’t know what to think?
Why would i pay 60$ for something i know didn’t work two years ago?
I don’t see a way to add trueskill type ranking systems with drop in drop out gameplay not to mention i already extremely hate drop out drop in multiplayer.
Didn’t we figure out that bloom is a broken game mechanic and promotes random play? Not to mention Sprint exuses player made mistakes.
We also hated the meele system! we then figured out how to fix it (MLG settings) and you bring us back to reach vanilla settings.
AA’s? Hologram, See through walls?
I can’t say i’ll buy this game during november, knowing how reach was this game just sounds like reach customized to draw in COD fans.
*The AA’s are not broken, armour lock was taken out which was the only one people had major beef with
*There will be many configurations of controller buttons, COD isn’t the only game with a thumb-stick sprint
*Bloom and Spread are implemented carefully and to a much less extent than Reach which already got explained by the person who made that lengthy post
*‘Forerunner’ (I forgot the new term) Vision can only see through a limited amount of walls, makes a noise to alert enemies and “messes with the colours” which means it’s not nearly as clear as you might think it is

Never knew Jet pack, sprint, drop shield and AL among others aren’t broken. State how you think they’re not broken and then tell me to shut up.
Jet pack breaks map control.
Sprint lets you correct mistakes you shouldn’t have been able to correct
drop shield is extremely underpowered
AL is extremely OP
Stop hating a game that hasn’t even released yet, from what I heard halo 4 is gonna be epic. Tell us you don’t like it when you’ve played it. But I probably won’t support you then either, or even consider your thread. STOP HATING (except the grunts…)

Jet pack prevents you from camping? Oh what a shame.
Sprint now slows down when you’re shot so no more double melee or sprinting away.
I’m not sure but I think drop shield and armor lock were taken out. Oh yeah… That’s right, they were. I’m sorry you can’t handle jetpackers though, seems to me if you were good you wouldn’t need to camp.

You don’t like the game fixed because you’re not good at the game fixed. jetpack doesnt stop camping, and there will still be double meele.
Go play halo 3 and learn what a real halo game is, stupid reach kid.
-2 different melee animations
-lunge
-have to have crosshair on friendly AI to even damage them
?
Oh God No.
Meleeing with the pistol in CE was satisfying. Meleeing with the pistol in Reach was disappointing. How can this be a throwback to CE when it also has the boring melees of H2 and H3?
Moving friendly AI in H2 and H3 with melee was a time saving task. Moving friendly AI in Reach with melee was difficult and time consuming.
Meleeing infection forms in CE saved ammo. Meleeing infection forms in H2 and H3 was too difficult.
Melee combat in CE felt engaging and dangerous. Melee combat in H2 and H3 is easy as hell while melee combat in Reach is only hard because of the damage. Take that away and it’s still easy.
Now I’m guessing that:
-H4 cqc will be easy. Reverse melees (highly unlikely they’ll be left out of H4) will give openings. Enemy melee attempts will fail thanks to a simple sidestep
-H4 melee kills won’t be very satisfying

Haha congratulations you can look up stats on one of my many accounts, but I wonder, if you can look up my Reach stats you should be able to see I’ve played Halo 3 as well, and every other previous installment, but I digress. I don’t mind TU, it’s fine with me, I just primarily stick with SWAT, it’s a much more fun gametype to me.
If Jetpacking doesn’t stop camping, what are you complaining about? You can still have your precious map control by that logic. Also there was double melee in 3 as well. Interesting. Hmm. Call me a stupid Reach kid, because I don’t mind the game, I just call you ignorant, because in fact, that is what you are.

Stop shaming the competitive community. Enforce those stereotypes then complain why casuals hate us so much WTFG
I could be that CE guy and tell you that Halo 3 is a joke, but I’m better then that.

Get out of here. We don’t need more people proving that MLG wannabee stereotype true. No wonder the casuals hate us when we pull out the stat flaming card and give competitive gamers a bad name. At least try to make an argument, instead of flaming.
Took me awhile to realize that i was foolish for flaming in the past. Maybe you should do the same.
