Did Waypoint just go down? (it was an update)

It’s 12:09 p.m. EST, and I think Waypoint just went… looks around

Hm…looks like they did a mid-day push to the site. Aesthetics update.

So far, it looks like they’ve added…

  • Some pretty, new icons on the text boxes- Character counter on the Topic Title box.Anybody else find any other changes?

EDIT: Looks like I’ve found a bug.

Other things I have noticed so far:

  • You can now add multiple recipients to private messages- General UI cleanup in posting area - specifically around making polls, reducing the size of the text boxes makes it a lot cleaner :)- Reveal / Hide animations when editing the profile feel a little smoother- Post reporting now has a new modal pop-up and dismiss animation. Quite cool, works well on mobile- Save and cancel button colours have now been changed. This is a welcome change- This bug relating to CSS issues with modal buttons has been fixedCan confirm the Favorites bug - topics are still favorited, but the list is empty. I imagine they’ll see and fix it soon :slight_smile:

I just wanted to add that it seems they possibly updated the box we type in on mobile.

It seems more stable to me. I wish I could check how it was before to be sure but it definitely seems to have improved some to me.

Edit: Actually I may be talking about your second point. My mistake lol.

Looks lke I can cross this bug off the list as being solved. CSS styling for buttons in modal windows seems to have been resolved now, along with the styling on the close button. Close button is hidden by default though, perhaps CSS issues with other browsers or something. Not that big a deal, glad it’s fixed at least :slight_smile:
