I just played Grifball for the first time in weeks or even months, and I kept getting betrayed by one guy on our team, did not give me the option to boot him at all…
Did they remove booting from Grifball? Sometimes it did get annoying getting booted for accidental betrayals… but that would barely happen, but randoms just team killing seems to happen a lot and ruins the game…
Can’t win either way.
I once got booted for accidental team killing in grifball. It’s normal for accidental team kills to happen. It’s hard to tell if it’s accidental or not.

Well the guy was coming up to us and swing his hammer… when he would grab the ball he would stand in the corner doing nothing… so yeah… he was throwing the game
Last I was aware, there was a three strikes and your out boot. The first two are free, and on the third betrayal players get the option to boot.

Either they changed it, or one our team mates didn’t boot him for some reason…
I never used the sword so you know I’m running around swinging that hammer like Thor. lol. I’m certain I’ve betrayed people on several occasions although I am not positive. I am still waiting to be booted. It’s not that I go around looking to get booted or try to betray people. Griffball is a contact sport after all. Collateral damage should be expected.

I’m not defending anything. If he was trying to kill you then yeah he should be booted. I was merely sharing my experience that despite swinging my hammer like a drunk uncle I’ve never been banned. So I’m not certain if booting someone is an option. I’VE NEVER SEEN IT.
