does anyone know? or have a guess? I ask because I was watching some beta gameplay and after having watched nothing but newer gameplay from a couple YouTube channels recently, I noticed that it seems like the SMG in the beta was just shredding people and the not so much on the newer videos.
I believe they toned it down. But that last time I heard that was months and months ago.
I’m sure someone with better knowledge then me will give you an answer.
It seems like it’s being treated as a primary weapon still.
Safe to say it hasn’t been nerfed drastically.

yeah I just didn’t want it to end up being something you never picked up because what you start with is better. that beta SMG was wrecking shop though lol
There were a couple of builds we saw at Gamescon and such in which the SMG didn’t appear to have hardly any reticle bloom, meaning at short to mid distances it tore everything in the reticle to shreds. Now that reticle bloom is back and bigger than ever, its a little more balanced.

is it just going to be the reticle boom or will it be that crazy SMG recoil that makes the reticle keep going up?
From the beta, its headshot damage has been reduced. It also maintains its reticle size when using the scope. Otherwise, nothing really changed.
