Did they change the server selection alongside sbmm?

Since 2 days im put on US servers almost exclusively. Ive search times BELOW 5 seconds but cant get a EU server. At prime time…

The other explanation would be: the game is finally dead for good.

edit: ranked, open, started at D4. Now im D1… not that i care

I don’t know exactly, but it’s probably the very low population, average 5000 players on steam

Same here. Living in central europe, platinum 4 in ranked. Since a few days i get much more ranked matches on distant servers with a ping between 100ms -130ms.

Yeah, I believe from friday the most times I see 120-150 ping like there are no EU players at all.
For example yesterday it was like one game with 40 ping then five or six games with 120 ping.
We loose about ten games in a row because of that. I drop from diamond 2 to plat 5.
It’s nearly unplayable idk what’s going on.

That’s a reason for sure, but the days before I got mostly 30 ms servers. Desync and americans on the server were still a huge problem, but I refuse to play on 120 ping, even though I’m some times invincible thanks to the lag.

It seems like 343 puts sbmm again over everything because I’ve search times of SECONDS. You can’t tell me I can’t find an all EU game when you let me search 1-2 minutes.

It’s amazing: Im currently playing becaus Im sock at home and although Ive wait times of 2-3 minutes, the performance of my last three matches were great. The way I would expect it ALL the time.

Ive no idea why I don’t get put on US servers when there are apparently less EU players bit have to play on 120-160 ping almost ALL THE TIME when half of EU is supposedly playing. Just to ensure the 5 seconds of search time?!

Seriously, 343 hast to get the priorities finally straight… it’s amazing how many bad and wrong decisions they are making just because they think that they know better.
