Did they change something in the game code? My cpu/gpu usage is WAY better

I used to get like 95-100% cpu usage and almost like 20% gpu usage. and I always thought it was just a super intensive cpu usage game so i wasnt even rendering anything through the gpu. and then i reset and toggled gsync for a game and off again. And now I am playing like 100fps at about 75% cpu and 50% gpu. With the same settings. The game never used the gpu like it should. But, somethings changed? I dont see anything new since I last quit a few months ago besides the keyboard walk caps lock key. theres an hdr setting but i dont have that. . Just trying to figure something out. It’s actually playable… Now. thanks.

EDIT: i7 6700 and 1050ti. It’s playing way better… Same settings. OFF/Unlocked.

They (343) fixed some CPU utilization issues and nvidia overhauled their DX12 drivers when the 40 series GPU launched for better CPU overhead.

im getting about twice the fps because my gpu is actually doing something. I am just trying to figure how it wasn’t working how it should have at launch. like you saud some cpu utlization codes.
