Did they change how rank increases work? Or bug?

Hey guys, I have a question. I’m curious if they actually changed this or if halo is literally totally screwing me over. For all of today, every time I win a match of ranked SWAT in arena, I gain literally one point of onyx CSR (as in I would go from like 1800 to 1801). Literally one point. Every time I lose, I lose 30 points (as in 1800 to 1770). I have been playing with some friends who are lower ranks than me, but I play with them very often and I’ve never had this problem.

I have played 17 games of SWAT today, and i won 8 out of 17 (as in I lost 9 of them) and i went from Champion 110ish to onyx 1730 (literally gaining 1 CSR for each win). How is that even possible? No matter what I do, I don’t gain any points for winning. I play almost every day, and I know how the rank system works very well. Regardless of my teammates ranks I actually think the amount of CSR I’ve lost should be statistically impossible.

Is this part of some new update I haven’t seen? Or is this a bug that is completely screwing me over? Anyone??

No that can’t be right. I can’t give you an explanation but hopefully someone else can/will. That’s just stupid you only gain 1 for a win but 30 for a loss. That makes ranked games impossible to play and needs to get fixed ASAP

So what you’re saying is that with this update, if I want to keep a rank that reflects my gameplay I can no longer play with friends who aren’t that good at the game?

So let’s see how this plays out. I’m a champion playing with gold to platinum friends. Eventually I get deranked to their level, and just rain literal hell on that tier? Have a few onyx/champion ranks playing with those ranks and completely ruining the skill matchup
