i know the laser hog got a much needed nerf, though ill admit im sad to see it.
last night on longbow two friends and i decided we were just going to hog it non stop and it seemed like we survived longer then normal. like we took more damage. i havent reviewed the match so im not sure.

I dont know dude. Gauss and laser are two totally different things.
i call it laser cause i have no clue what gauss is. looks like a laser to me. i just looked it up and its a unit to measure a magnetic field/induction. so that makes no sense.

The Gauss sends a projectile at hyper velocity, similar to a MAC.
im not so sure. the rail gun definitely does that and the two weapons have completely different firing and impact effects.

The Gauss cannon is effectively a rail gun. As in it fires metal projectiles at an extremely high velocity using electromagnets. That’s why it’s called the Gauss cannon.
It’s different from the rail gun because this is a video game. It doesn’t perfectly try to mirror reality. They took some artistic license with both guns.
The gauss hog has a different projectile so you can actually see that a gauss hog was firing, not a railgun.
To actually answer the guys question, the regular Warthog didn’t get a buff, nothing did, only the ability to change these sort of things without a patch was added.

As I saw 1 take out a Scorpion in 2 shots twice today & it seemed just as the same to destroy…
Magnetism was nerfed, so no more shooting anywhere near the enemies and getting kills. Probably they also reduced its damage. Was is possible to destroy the Scorpion with just one shot before?

Whatever the -Yoink- it is, I am happy it has been nerfed 
I have enjoyed some nicer Exile BTB as Red Team lately.

as far as I know they took out the aim assist/Magnetism, that was the only thing they nerfed (which was the only thing overpowering about it, if idiots quit running down the center of the bridges spraying and praying that gun probubly wouldnt get that many kills a game), which in my opinion makes whoever did the optical sight design look like an idiot. A Retangle target sight, get real. (if it had aim assist sure, but without it should be crosshairs or even a circle as the turrent nn the other hog. It usually takes 3 shots to kill the scorpion, depending on how many DMR shots and any close grenades it’s taken. Most times I’ve played that map the scorpion has been taken out buy the FRG that spawns by the bridge and not the Gauss Hog
I kind of miss the old Gauss.
Anyhow, I believe that we will be informed whenever they decide to nerf any other weapon, won’t they?
