Recently, every time I respawn in Halo 5, it does so far away from the chosen option. In my last game in Darkstar, I kept choosing the East armory, and I kept respawning right in from of the Home base. I mean, why give me the choice if I will respawn in the Home base anyway? Honestly, it is a bit annoying.

It all depends if enemies are attacking your armory! And you often spawn close to a teammates…

Darkstar has awful spawns. I’ll try to spawn in the fortress and it will spawn me in the wide open regardless if enemies are in the base or not.
It’s always been like that.
A lot of the time I choose the core and I’m closer to mid than the actual core.

This. It’s not just you OP, the spawns have always sucked. I’m not sure why it even bothers asking you where you want to spawn. I get that supposedly it’s trying to keep me away from bases that are being attacked, but there have been times when I am 100% certain the base was NOT under attack and it sends me a million miles away anyway. And even if the base is under attack, spawning me in the wide open nowhere near cover isn’t much better.

Yeah, what is the point in choosing.
The spawn points make me sometimes very angry, on all WARZONE maps. But that’s the price to play xD
If I’m attacking a base the enemy always spawns right next to it.
Sometimes but normally the player spawns near a teammate or far from danger

Yeah, I spawn under fire or within an a foot of a boss at least once a match.
