Did the librarian see Cortana's rampancy?

In Halo 4 the Librarian kidnaps Cortana so that she can tell the Master Chief that “your physical evolution. Your combat skin. Even your Ancilla. Cortana. You are the culmination of a thousand life times of planning.” That he/humanity are destined to claim the Mantel. She has studied the Flood, so i consider her an expert on them. She is also an expert on ancillias. Plus the fact that she was around during Mendicant Biases rebellion she would know at least something about the Logic Plague. If these are all true the why did the ‘memories’ of her on the shield world Requim didn’t notice Cortana evolving rampancy and do something to fix. If humanities claiming the Mantel was that important surely she would have placed a contingency plan for it.

Because even the forerunners don’t have a cure for rampancy. Nor do I think cortana specifically was important to her plans in the long run.

I’m still convinced Chief and Cortana were jumping off points for humanity. We already saw the S-IVs take the augmentations and armor seeded by the Librarian and made real by Halsey and the S-II Program. Human-AI interfaces made popular by Chief and Cortana expanding to the rest of the Spartans and later, perhaps, humanity was the next step.

I didn’t mean a cure just, “Hey you’re really important, just so you know your A.I. is going rampant. She might be a danger. Has she been in contact with a Gravemind? That is bad.” Like that.

It was… until Skynet attacked.

Her rampancy, even though it was at a bad stage, wasn’t showing that much compared to later on in the game so the Librarian could’ve missed it. It was actually after that mission where Cortana’s rampancy really started to affect her a lot . It’s also possible that this was part of a plan for something but I doubt it since I can’t think what that could be

I don’t have an answer for that specific question, but I’ll take the chance to plug the most recent entry on Haruspis’ blog for those that haven’t read it, it’s regarding the topic of the Chief’s “predestination” and an alternative interpretation of what it really means. It’s very interesting, as much as my little brain can follow it anyway. To grossly oversimplify, it basically suggests the Librarian did not plan for John and Cortana personally, but pointing the overall evolution of humanity in such a direction that Spartans and smart AI’s in general would become a thing, and humanity’s first step toward a Forerunner like society.
