The forerunners were bright for knowing what to do in extreme situations building whole planets just to house a species during the firing of the halo array.
As we saw in halo 4 the outer parts of shield worlds were completely covered preventing halos array from reaching the surface or even touching the atmosphere. the planet also had its own weather and date setting. the forerunners were truly the most magnificent species of them all. even saving the others in such a crisis but why couldn’t they save themselves.
The Prometheans were left behind along with much of the forerunner technology yet we have but been waiting to see one. if they are truly alive [which we believe they are] then why haven’t they tried to make contact with us. or is it just the case that the didact is the only one left for he is to really be the last foreruuner.
if the forerunners knew where the humans lived then why not try and reach them why stay hidden. is it possible that they devolved and now they don’t posses the tech to travel as they use too.
as the didact May possibly be the last alive you can compare him to chief very well. they both have exorbitant amounts of strength and speed. and they both are under armies.
All these questions will hopefully be answered in Halo 4, or at least the next trilogy.
I too would like to know if there are any Forerunners remaining. And if so, what have they been doing this whole time. It’s not like they wouldn’t have caught wind of the human-covenant war.
The Forerunners most likely left the galaxy, or exiled themselves, in shame for destroying the galaxy. I doubt they’d want to show their face.
And, the Halo Activation was unexpected. The Forerunners had planned to shelter in Shield Worlds and stuff, they planned to survive. But Mendicant Bias’ attack on the Sphere was sudden, unexpected. There was no time to warn the rest, the Array was activated.
we know there is a forerunner in the cryptum. possibly the didact. what had happen to the forerunners in that 100,000 years. we saw how guilty spark was rampant due to isolation and the humans wanting to destroy the installation the he had guarded for so long.
and since the didact is a real forerunner is it possible that the words of the timeless one have caused him to become rampant as well?

I thought it also said the precursors where the only ones that were capable of traveling to other galaxies.

dont go to halo pedian. anyone can write those things. I have read alot of halo books and none of them had mentioned the forerunners leaving the galaxy because of precursors. I have read of the remaining forerunners are on the greater ark.
