After the last update, I see no difference at all, and If I saw a difference it would be from bad to worse after this last update.
If anything, it’s at least usable again. The side-to-side spread is gone, though there is more pronounced vertical recoil. Some say it induces motion sickness while scoped in, but it’s hardly bothering me. If anything, use Stabilization Jets with it in Warzone. It’s so nasty.
The bullet spread is the biggest change, it’s atleast predictable now.
There is most definitely a difference for the better.
They made the spread about the same but lowered the rate of fire a bit and increased recoil. Pretty big difference imo when I first picked it I was surprised from the jump of the gun. Overall fun to use now
I think it’s definitely better at least you can land easy head shots when guys have no shields ! It will definitely take a bit of getting used to and it’s not as good as it was originally but it’s 1000x better than that monstrosity they put in in the tuning update
It’s nowhere near as powerful as the original ( which was fun but a bit overpowered at times ) but no it is vastly improved taking the random spread away alone means if you’ve got a decent shot then your rewarded for it . They’ve put the skill back into it . Random equals luck , recoil now means you have to be able to control and continuously adjust your aim to get the kill . I noticed a huge improvement immediately within the first shots fired . Much much much better !!!
I think it’s improved. Not all that much but it’s better. I still prefer the H2BR though. It just has a much better feel and sound.

Really???
Well, there’s definly is difference. This BR is much better the the previous one. It’s rate of fire needs a bit of a boost still I feel, but that’s me. I still think the H2BR is better in everyway (its look, sound and most importantly no annoying ADS style zooming animation) and wish it was used on Arena maps and not the H5BR.
The current BR is now usable at least and has no more of this “Bloom” feel or random spread garbage that is nothing but frustration in my opinion. So glad they changed it.
THE BR WAS AMAZING AFTER THE TUNING IT WAS A BUBBLE GUN THEN they made it a ehhh weapon
BR definitely feels usable again after the hot fix. I wish they would have tweaked the carbine back to its pre-tuning state as well. The carbine is terrible now. I literally will fire 5 shots at someone who is 1 shot and none of my 5 will finish him off due to the spread
While the BR is a bit better I think they should still try to tweak it a bit more. There close but still not quite there yet. The biggest problem 343 has is they evidently do all there testing in house under ideal conditions. That was clearly obvious with there first tune. You cant make drastic changes to weapons and expect them to perform well over the internet when your tuning them to LAN type conditions in house… That was there first big mistake. There second was the thought of random bullet spread… Have no idea where they even thought this was going to work… Another thing that still doesn’t sit well with me is what pros actually asked for a BR tune to begin with? From what I ever heard from them was there concerns with the AR not the BR… Many poor decisions were made with the first tune and really couldn’t of hit this game at the worst time possible… Lets hope we don’t see mistakes like this again…
I think it’s better than it was previously, but that’s not saying much considering they made it have random spread. I think it could’ve been changed in other ways besides adding recoil like messing with the bullet mag and aim assist at farther ranges for example.
It feels much more usable again.
Feel free to use the feedback thread.
