Is it me or the quit ban in the Arena just got stricter after February’s update?

I think it may have. I never quit games and today I was getting raped and just got fed up and wanted to play a little grifball to let the steam off. Well I left my match then played a whole game of grifball and then got banned for 3 minutes.
