Maybe it’s from too much Destiny 2 play, but slide felt a little janky to me. It wasn’t as response as I’d like.
Yeah the slide definitely felt a bit clunky however the sprinting did for me as well. I did some time tests during the flight and the sprinting was the same exact speed as walking, but it was also extremely jittery and I assumed that it was just an annoying bug yet to be fixed. Anyways, hopefully they smooth all that out before launch!

I think the sliding is good as is, sprinting and sliding don’t overpower the playing field and the speed is consistent which I prefer.
this game’s slide is redundant imo. Wouldnt really use it because it doesn’t give any advantage for the player and it just really give any speed boost.
It felt like I was sliding with a Spartan. The timing on slopes and stuff make a huge difference.
Yes the sliding was definitely wonky. Sometimes I would slide and literally completely launch across the map and other times I would barley move lolol.
