No. All it confirms is that season 17 will be the last made on H5.
That doesn’t suggest that at all.
Not really related to Infinite, more on the community. But no, we don’t know anything except that Season 17 is the last season on the Halo 5 engine.

Not for sure, but I think RoosterTeeth sometimes gets little confirmational bits of info from 343i considering RT does support Halo pretty heavily with RvB, Achievement Hunter, etc, etc.
It wouldn’t surprise me if 343 told them, but again, I can’t say for sure. Purely speculation on my part.

huh I didn’t know that before who knows with 18 they might just go back to previous games like they have in the past but I wouldn’t totally rule out a 2019 release but I find that very interesting

More likely they’re probably waiting on E3 before starting the next season plus development takes time. There might not be anything on h5 but it could mean a cgi style season while going back to previous games plus it’s possible we’ll still get h5 PSA. I still think the game won’t come out till 2020
I mean not really all it means is that rooster teeth is no longer using halo 5 to make their episodes.
