Did part of Red Team Die in the Trailer?

In the Halo Wars 2 announcement trailer they say “Douglas is down” That is followed by images of Spartan being beat up. I just want to know you guys opinions.

I think it just may be an action scene to build up anticipation, and he could very well be A-OK in the end. I presume he is in a tough pinch and isn’t killed, just knocked-out or in bad shape. Just not dead.

That explains a lot. Also it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense killing them off in a announcement trailer.

Re watch the trailer. You can see al the Spartans falling back as a team. The Spartan who was fighting the brute was the one being dragged. The other was dragging him, and the final Spartan was firing to their left (our right)

He was just injured. You saw him being dragged off during the trailer.

Douglas it appears took quite a beating from a Brute and hopefully just passed out.

Yeah I am sure Douglas is hurt but not KIA, as getting rid of what seems to be Red teams leader would be kinda crazy.

no Sgt. Forge died by manually setting off a bomb in halo wars on the forerunner shield world

probably not because the brute yelled hunt them down but i could be wrong
