I still have yet to receive the one month XBL . I have talked to Xbox support and they told me to contact the developers. Yet there is no email provided. My gamertag is PPG AzN. I know I have logged in within the time frame that it states. Just wondering why I haven’t received it. I don’t know if this matters but I have played games using the 2 weeks gold membership trial during this time period. But it just states anyone is eligible if you have played within the time frame. Please help

Im in the same boat as you too. My gold ran out like 4 hours ago. I have been reading on some websites that people have receives theirs on the 16th of jan around 5pm.
Some have received theirs, but not everyone has yet. From the FAQ it mentioned the free month would drop mid to late January, I i’m guessing they have started the roll-out now and you should recieve it soon. A friend got theirs last night I believe in a message from Xbox Live. I think others noted that their subscription time had been extended. I just checked my account there and my subscription has been extended by a month (Said June last week, now it says July), so it may be worth checking that just in case you do have it. If you go to the Microsoft Commerce site, you can check your transactions. It will tell you when you last purchased, so you can work out from the renewal date if you have had it applied 
Was playing last night and all my friends got msg with free month gold at same time, but not me and I have online achievements to prove I played it online. 343 can’t even get this right! They will ignore this comment too I bet.

If you read my post right above yours, I just explained that not everyone has it yet but it is being rolled out.

I don’t. I’ve been playing since launch myself, must have only gotten mine in the last day or so. There have been people posting about getting theres since last week, so it’s on a roll-out process. They said mid-to-late January, so it will eventually come to everyone. No idea how they roll it out, could be any sort of ordering (maybe even some ID associated with your gamertag or email account). I don’t think any more official notes are needed really. They gave us the dates and it’s starting to roll. I guess if you don’t have it by the end of January, that would be the time to contact them and find out about getting it.
I tweeted Bravo last night and this was his response.

Also in the same boat played between the time specified not much but I did, I’m definitely liable for the free content as I received the avatars and nameplates gamer tag ResoluteElk come on 343 clearly something’s gone wrong and it seems a lot of us arnt being compensated.
