Hello, I played a slayer game and finished it with 19 kills and 0 deaths and I later checked my commendations because this is the first perfection I have ever gotten. The commendation is still at zero and did not go up. Has there been a problem with this commendation or is this a glitch in the system? Is there any way to get it changed by 343? Thanks in advance.
If the host migrated during the middle of game (black screen) then the statistics can get a little wonky. I’d suggest that is what occurred or perhaps you were playing a gametype where perfections are not awarded?

I’m not sure what the problem is. It could be both of the things you mentioned. I’m assuming it’s something wrong with that particular commendation as I haven’t noticed it happen in other commendations. Then again, I haven’t noticed.
The perfection did count. You were at Novice 0/1. Since you only need one Perfection to complete Novice, you’ve completed it and are now at Proficient 0/2.
Well I rewatched the film and the host did not switch. The game was smooth, with no lag. It was Infinity Slayer if that affects it at all. I have the film on my file share if anybody cares to watch it and see if they notice anything.

So the commendations start at 0/5? I had thought they started at 1/5.

Interesting about the commendation, so commendations are locally processed where medals are host processed then sent up to Waypoint? That seems to be how it would work if you’re correct.
