MC’s armour in Halo 4 has been graphically updated, yes, but in terms of canon it is exactly the same - albeit from some software upgrades made by Cortana. But I don’t know why you brought up Halo: CE. MC has been wearing the MK VI since Halo 2.

More detail could have fixed that issue. I have no problem with giving him new armour, in fact, I like the new look. But, I don’t want the Mk. VI to be re-imagined. The new look should be Mk. VII armour. The old Mk. VI armour is iconic and should keep its place in Halo canon.

I don’t mind, as long as his armour looks iconic. But MkVII armour sounds cool.

But the Mk.VI armour suits his look. I just feel sorry for the Chief because he hasn’t been able to take his Mk.VI armour off!
