Did KBM Get Stealth Adjustments from HCS Patch?

After playing for the first time since the first round of HCS patches went live, it feels like KBM might have had some adjustments snuck in. Feels like the unintentional reticle friction has been removed? I personally would prefer this over other methods of balancing the input, but if this is the case, developer updates would be nice.

Interesting. Can they even make that sort of change with just a server side update? I would have thought it would require an actual patch to download.

I doubt any adjustments were made. But you have to remember that all aim mechanics, KB&M as well as controller, are 100% reliant on your connection. The better the connection the better aiming will feel and vice versa.

Yes, so, speaking as a former Star Wars: Squadrons player, there came a point where MOTIVE was unable to put the resources forward to give everyone big patches to download, so updates were entirely serverside, not clientside. Serverside updates are actually the cheapest and easiest ones to do.

It was the best support we at the professional scene got, and were going to get because SWS was never intended to be and was never going to be a live service game, so, any updates had to be meaningful.

According to Unyshek, any changes to things like aiming or weapons would require a game update.
