I left mcc a few months ago because playlist populations were low (at least on the playlists I went on) and was bored of waiting for crappy matches so I decided to play Minecraft for a while, got 8 achievements left till 100% thanks for asking, but anyway I saw that infection was on, so I checked it out at an off-peak time (like midday on Monday I think) and it was populated, I found it really fun and was glad people were on there, also if you suck at ranked playlists (my highest rank was 12, although in halo 4 it was 16-19 I forgot, I’m a noob, accept reality) you would like to know that it effects your matchmaking kd on your service record, so for me this is motivation as I can play cadre or braaaains all day and rack up those multikills. I got a killtrocity tonight.
so has infection brought you back to mcc? It sure bought me back and I have noticed it being populated enough.

yeah, I was having fun but wait times were still too long for me, especially at ranks around 10-15 the quality isn’t the best in terms of players or strategy and go back to reach at peak times and you find matches pretty much instantly, and I found it nice too

it is fun, and similarly with halo 5, not playing from launch, a general rule is 2 triple A titles a year (indie games are exceptions) and usually only one limited edition. And one pre order. This year I am pre ordering battlefront and then saving up for LE for guardians.
I can tell you guys see this as a nice addition from stale gameplay for nearly a year now. I don’t see how halo 2 and 3 can ever get boring tbh…

2 people from my friends list started playing MCC again because of infection but it’s still not anywhere near their primary game. I haven’t gone back to MCC yet. I won’t play until they either make the playlists a lot better and/or release a CU. Until then I’ll be playing games that work well like garden warfare and rare replay.

I would say not many. MCC was appearing at #8 in Xbox live most played quite often. I rarely see it there any more. It rarely cracks top ten. Especially since more new releases have come out.

It’s really good. If you like team fortress you’ll like garden warfare.

I never left MCC but now I play Infection every day and have even gotten a few of my friends to come back and play with me, its great!

It would have if they had gotten it out sooner, but they didn’t so I’m playing Smite and Metal Gear Solid V nowadays. Only one of my friends really plays Halo and the only time we ever really get on is if he’s playing and being pretty adamant about it.

Yeah I agree. Everything that’s been done I feel is more than likely too little too late. Halo 5 is only a month away. The Fall season is arriving so some new releases are coming out. At this point, nothing they do is going to return this game to anywhere near the population that it SHOULD have had.
I agree its too late now, I can understand them fixing bugs earlier this year… Not even gonna comment… But grifball, infection and all those fun community playlists should have been part of the compensating, and earlier when I was playing it said about dominion and infection only being a short term thing
I think they dropped the ball with community aspects in this game, I still don’t know how to work the file share, they didn’t launch with one, there are hardly many fun/unranked playlists (action sack and infection, maybe btb are the only fun and not competetive) and especially firefight with odst. Idk.
