So the latest community update gave some info on the brand new helmets, namely their cost. They are apparently bundled in an exclusive REQ Pack priced at $9.99 or 150K RP. Did I read that last bit right? 150,000 RP for nine helmets? I mean I’m totally going to grind instead of spending actual cash, but yeah… That’s a lot even by 343 standards.

I’m pretty sure some of the packs were 100,000RP.
150,000RP for 9 helmets seems pretty fair to me? That’s roughly 17k RP per helmet isn’t too bad at all, IMO.

True, its not THAT bad; especially seeing how good looking the helmets are. Its just that its 150K RP or $10. RP to USD ratio just feels a little backhanded is all.

Well I mean, I think the other ones that were 100,000RP were also $10 so this actually seems pretty good.
(Disclaimer: I could be mis-remembering the RP cost for some of the other packs but I’m pretty sure they were $10.)

10$ for 9 helmets> the same price for 1 HCS pack (magnum & AR skin+emblem)
At least that’s how I look at it
EDIT: Not saying you shouldn’t buy the HCS packs.

If I remember correctly, the Month of Mythic req packs were 100,000, and it came with the certification of a mythic, and 12 more of said mythic. I think.
Not bad for 9 helmets that the community is ravenous for.
Then again, I have all the reqs, 50 gold packs sitting around plus 500k reqs with also plenty to sell as it is. Maybe my opinion isn’t the most valid.
I can gather roughly 200k REQ points a day if i dedicate all my time to Warzone firefight. I’ve got too many Rare RP Jackpots plus a few legendaries.
I’m actually trying rid myself of them by playing… but every gold pack just gives back two of them… Lol
150k is well worth it for such a beautiful collection of nostalgia!
Well I’ve got 300,000 rp, could buy one for my self and someone else, if sharing between packs other than that one gold pack was possible.
This is the only REQ pack to me that seems fairly priced, while I’m not going to dish out money just yet, I am definitely going to try and grind for those points because it makes the helmets all that much better.

Yeah, this pack is really only going to be bought by people using RP if they’ve collected a majority of the existing REQ pool or have a ton of gold packs from HSC or pre-ordering HW2 (it gives you five.) Everyone else may as well buy them with money, not at all, or grind like they’ve never grinded before.
For example, I have the entire REQ collection that you can get from normal REQ packs complete. Everything but the HSC and Achilles stuff has been unlocked. However, I only had 58k in REQ points and that was after four games of Warzone firefight and a game of Assault. After that I sold a ton of my REQs; all of the random cards, a majority of the boosts, reduced every non-mythic weapon down to a total of five, and sold a good chunk of the vehicles I don’t use or simply have a lot of. I’m now sitting at 151k REQ points.
The price point seems fair given it’s nine helmets in one pack, but then you realize not everyone has the time and ability to get 150k by the 9th. We also don’t know how long the pack will be around.
