You’ve all seen the RTX video about Forge where they showed off the Trait Zones, where you can create a zone that alters the traits of players inside. This is 100% identical to something I proposed on the Bungie.net forums over a year ago.
I would hope so. Even one example where a community member has directly influenced a game is a good sign for the rest of the community. I hope they respond and say they did take it from you. Lack of response probibally would mean that they didn’t however.

You should’ve patented it, and go to court with it like Crapple…

By a quick count, I’ve read about five different trait zone suggestions throughout the development of Reach. It’s really not a unique idea, so, I really doubt they got the idea from you. After all, it’s something that people naturally come up with when they play with the idea of player traits and how to improve them. It’s natural evolution.
I believe you were one of the many contributing factors leading into the idea. I highly doubt they copy N pasted your idea. I have seen other threads similar to yours asking for the same thing. Certain Affinity said they listened to what we had to say.
