Did I get trolled?

So my buddy and I are in the DLC playlist, just the 2 of us, and we wind up with this other guy in lobby, bragging about how he just hit SR130.

So I check his stats, naturally he has less kills than I do (Because he’s SO boosting).

The comments he made where brilliant. Keep in mind that this kid is a SR130 primarily from SO, he doesn’t really play that much matchmaking.

So first we hear him flipping out on how the enemy team is just camping the objective with boltshots. You know, the most obvious thing ever

Then after a bit of crying about that, he’s crying about how people are using turrets to kill him. I try to explain to him that it is an achievement people are trying to get, but he’s still flipping out.

After a bit of that, he starts complaining that the guy on the turret is using damage boost to kill him. Now keep in mind, this isn’t infinity. There are no ordnance drops, therefore there are no damage boosts (No the random ordnance don’t contain them either). The guy is just getting his -Yoink- handed to him and making excuses.

To top it off, as he’s calling everybody else bad, he claims that in Halo 3 he was a 50 in each playlist.

So after hearing about how he had a 50 in each playlist, I’m expecting somebody with a KD of roughly 3.

lol nope, kid had an overall KD of 0.88, with slayer KD of 0.86

Now if you guys message me on XBL I’ll give you his GT, but forum rules prohibit me from posting it here.

My question though…how can somebody be that amazingly bad, yet think that they’re amazingly awesome? How can somebody with a KD less than 1 in slayer, be calling the rest of their teammates bad?

Did I get trolled, or are people really that stupid?

Simple bad kid logic… Everyone is a camping, spawn trapping, power weapon--Yoink!- idiot except him.
Now the real logic is, he can’t get any kills and blames it on stupid stuff like this.

Unfortunately I had to deal with a kid similar to the one you are talking about now. I challenged him to a 1v1 and beat him two times. He STILL thought he was better than me. My guess is that nobody wants to admit that they are bad.
