Did Halo:Reach's Population Drop This Bad?

Seriously?

23,007 people playing right now? I know it’s late, late at night in America, but this is really, really, bad for a Halo game.

Its 4:59 in the morning on the east coast. This isn’t really really bad for a Halo game, its understandable since people are either coming back from work (me), getting ready to go to work or go to school. Not only that, there are alot of other popular games that people play except for Halo.

I’m not to big on population numbers, as long as I find people to play with, I’m content as we all really should be.

There’s no one playing King Of The Hill, I can’t get into a game, so to me this is a problem. :expressionless:

It’s also just mid morning in Europe, so not many people are playing here either.

Theres no King of the Hill Playlist!

It’s down to 20K.

Yes, that is realy really bad for a recently released Halo.

(from memory of playing all the other games, except for this -Yoink- one)

Exam week and holidays, people are busy with others things to do, just wait after 2013. there will be rise

There is still alot of population on Reach unless you’re talking about a specific game type like KoH. Look on every gametype right now there’s still alot playing.

lol…

Halo 3 would like a word.

And it took Reach about a year for it to drop to the numbers Halo 4 dropped to in a month.

200,000 people are taking final exams right now

> 200,000 people are taking final exams right now

Your point?

Do you really think if those people weren’t taking their finals there would be significantly more people playing Halo 4? lol…

Can you find a game in all available playlist options? Yes you can. Unless I can’t find a game in a playlist, then it isn’t really really bad for a Halo game.

You know whats really really bad for a Halo game? Not being able to share your content, like screenshots or clips or gametypes or maps, or not browsing such content in game or on the website. You know whats really really bad for a Halo game? Not being able to have Theater mode for Campaign and Spartan OPs. You know whats really bad for a Halo Game, having customizable loadouts where players can have a DMR - Plasma Pistol - Active Camo - 3 Plasma Grenades.

I can go on and on about whats really bad for a Halo game, but I can tell you right now, that the fact you can find a game in any playlist - you can find players to actually play with that it isn’t really really bad for a Halo game to have low population numbers.

When you can’t find a damn game, then say its really really bad for a Halo game this early after launch to have playlist where there is literally no one playing.

Yes it does matter. Your argument has been spanked up and down these forums only about 100 times.

> Can you find a game in all available playlist options? Yes you can.

Can I find a game in any playlist with an acceptable connection? No, I can’t.

So sick of seeing population threads. The numbers you are seeing are not # of players that day. Thats how many players are on at any given time. And that changes each day. If we could see the # of unique players signing into halo 4 each day i could promise you population threads would not exist.

My heart is with those 20 souls playing Infinity Team Slayer.

Considering they would show numbers that would barely be half of what Halo 3 had…

So your claiming you know the # of unique players that sign in each day? No one knows but 343. If i remember correctly halo 4 is in the top 3 for xbox activity on xbl. So if anything that indicates the number of people that sign in each day is pretty high.

But no. Keep being negitive. The only proof population threads had for negitive is the # of players on at any given time.

469 playing crimson,Im surprised thers that many after playing it on the “free trial”.Should have made it free.
