So, I’m really looking forward to the releases of Halo 3, and ODST on MCC PC, and was just curious if anyone knows if Halo Online supported Variable Frame Rates?
I know that Halo Online was based off a modded version of Halo 3’s Engine, and was the only time we ever had the Halo 3 Engine on PC before. It’s just something that I am curious about, because on Halo Reach, and Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer, the unlocked framerate option doesn’t work too well. Specifically, animations locked to 60fps, and camera movement wasn’t much better, having it’s own issues. I believe that Halo 4 will have these problems, too because the engine’s between Reach, 4, and H2A multiplayer are all very similar. Meanwhile, I have no idea about Halo 3’s engine.
So I thought if I learned a little more about Halo Online’s Engine, I could get a little bit of an idea of how Halo 3 might perform on PC.
