If you think that you are completely wrong. Im pretty sure thruster was in halo first, also the jet pack was also in halo. Another reason is that halo 5 was under development almost right after halo 4 realesed.

Meaning halo had all ideas first
It is possible they took the idea from CoD b/c it’s a cool and fun idea. I find myself actually liking it’s implementation in Halo 5 because (and I assume) there are dedicated servers running. I’ve actually been able to run away using the boost around corners versus CoD where I still end up dying because on the enemy players screen I’m not around the corner yet.
hardly. the thruster is used so sparingly that it feels hardly like CoD. thats basically the only CoD-esk thing i could find.
